They are here for the 72nd edition of the International Astronautical Congress, which is being held in the UAE for the first time.
It's a chance for professionals to meet and network, as well as learn about the future of space exploration.
Salem AlMarri, Deputy Director-General of the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Centre MBRSC), spoke to ARN News about the significance of this premier space event, which runs until October 29 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
AlMarri added that there will be an open day for the public on Wednesday, October 27, where people can interact with astronauts and learn about the present and future of space activities.
