UAE weather: Rain and dusty conditions forecast this week

Rain is expected across the UAE over the next few days, with temperatures continuing to drop, the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) confirmed.

In its weekly forecast, the UAE weather bureau said the country will be affected by a surface depression extending from the southwest. 

On Wednesday and Thursday, the upper air trough gradually deepens with chances of light to moderate rainfall, particularly in northern, eastern, and southern areas.

From noon on Thursday, temperatures will drop with the amount of clouds gradually decreasing by nightfall.

Friday will see dusty and windy conditions, with light rain expected in the east of the country.
