Warning issued after Umm Al Quwain wedding flouts COVID-19 rules

Umm Al Quwain Police say guests at a recent local wedding violated several of the COVID-19 protocols.

Inspectors found that the number of people attending the event in Al Suweihat exceeded the allowance of 10.

In addition, they were not wearing face masks and had failed to maintain physical distancing.

The local Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management team warned all members of society to abide by the rules to prevent the spread of the virus.
