The UK is finalising arrangements with the UAE to soon allow quarantine-free travel for vaccinated UAE nationals and residents.
That's according to James Cleverly, the UK Minister for Middle East and North Africa in the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office.
"We are finalising arrangements with UAE to include their nationals and residents in our plans to open up to the fully vaccinated from other countries from 4 October," he said on Twitter.
His remarks came after England announced on Friday it would scrap its traffic light system for travel, and abandon COVID-19 testing requirements for fully vaccinated travellers from low-risk countries.
Delighted that international travel is opening up.
