UAE takes part in joint military exercises with Egypt

UAE armed forces are participating in drills dubbed "The Sword of Arabs" at the Mohamed Naguib Military Base and other parts of northern Egypt.

The manoeuvres run until November 26 and aim to promote military cooperation between the Egyptian Armed Forces and other Arab countries.

Troops and equipment arrived from the UAE, Bahrain and Sudan via airbases and marine ports in recent days.

Saudi Arabia is participating as an observer.

A coordination conference is also being held to unify concepts, exchange expertise, lecture on theory and deploy participating units.
