UAE Special Forces arrive at Aden’s presidential palace

NULL

A contingent of UAE Special Forces have taken up position at the presidential palace in Aden. Their arrival comes as the UAE continues work on rebuilding the palace, which has been badly damaged during Yemen’s on-going conflict. The personnel are trained in the protection of important officials and institutions. Meanwhile, Yemen’s legitimate government is expected to return to the southern port city in the next few days, after being forced to leave in September, following an attack on a hotel that officials were staying in.
