The UAE is among the safest countries in the world for COVID-19.
That's according to a 250-page report by the Deep Knowledge Group, a consortium of commercial and non-profit organisations, which ranked 100 countries on their overall COVID-19 safety based on 130 qualitative and quantitative parameters.
It also looked at categories like quarantine efficiency, monitoring and detection, health readiness, and government efficiency.
The UAE is ranked number 11, just ahead of Canada and Hong Kong.
Meanwhile, the study ranked Switzerland and Germany the top slots "because of their economy’s resilience, and due to the careful ways in which they are attempting to relax lockdown and economic freezing mandates in a fact and science-based manner, without sacrificing public health and safety”.
