UAE President tells Marco Rubio two-state solution key to regional peace

The UAE's President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has emphasised the importance of working towards a just and comprehensive peace in the Middle East, based on the two-state solution.

Sheikh Mohamed received a phone call on Wednesday from US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, where they discussed regional and international matters of mutual interest, with a focus on the latest developments in the Middle East.

The conversation also touched on strengthening cooperation across various fields within the framework of the strategic relationship between the UAE and the United States.
