UAE President pays tribute to Armed Forces on Unification Day

President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has paid rich tributes to the military on the 43rd anniversary of the Unification of the UAE Armed Forces.

Sheikh Khalifa praised their sacrifices and highlighted their vital role in building the nation.

Speaking to the military journal, 'Nation Shield', His Highness stated there’s no development without security and no security without a strong national army.

Sheikh Khalifa also reiterated the government’s commitment to the training and welfare of the Armed Forces.
