Authorities in the UAE have warned that any attempts to evade Emiratisation obligations will be met with strict legal action.
The warning comes as the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) has identified as many as 1,934 private establishments that violated Emiratisation policies since mid-2022.
These companies hired over 3,000 UAE nationals illegally and tried to bypass Emiratisation targets.
Violating firms face fines ranging from AED 20,000 to AED 500,000 and are referred to the public prosecution based on the severity of the offence.
Meanwhile, individuals involved in fake Emiratisation will stop receiving financial benefits and will also be required to surrender their previous benefits.
The MoHRE has urged the public to report any violations of Emiratisation policies by contacting the ministry’s call centre at 600590000 or through its smart app and website.
Our inspection system has detected 1934 private establishments that hired 3035 UAE nationals in violation of Emiratisation policies, attempting to circumvent Emiratisation targets and engage in fake Emiratisation, from mid-2022 till 19 November 2024.
