UAE mourns death of 6-year-old cancer patient from Gaza

WAM

The UAE's Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) has announced the death of a six-year-old cancer patient who was recently flown in from the Gaza Strip.

The young patient was battling an advanced stage of acute lymphoblastic leukemia and faced numerous complications.

"The child, who arrived in the country with multiple health issues, was transferred to a specialised medical centre for treatment. Unfortunately, the child's condition progressively worsened, ultimately leading to his death," MoHAP said in a statement.

The ministry extended its condolences to the grieving family, and reaffirmed its commitment to providing top-tier healthcare services to all patients.
