UAE, Ghana discuss enhancing relations

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and the President of Ghana have discussed advancing relations between the two nations especially in the fields of trade, investment, agriculture, and energy.

President Nana Akufo-Addo is on a working visit to the UAE, during which he attended his country's celebrations of its National Day at Expo 2020 Dubai.

Sheikh Mohamed conveyed the greetings of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan while the Ghana President thanked Sheikh Mohamed for the warm reception, stressing his country's keenness to further advance cooperation over the coming period.

At the meeting in Abu Dhabi's Al Shati' Palace they also discussed a number of international and regional issues.

The meeting was attended by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Shakhbout bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State, Sheikh Mohamed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor for Special Affairs at the Ministry of Presidential Affairs, and Ali bin Hammad Al Shamsi, Deputy Secretary General of the Supreme Council for National Security along with the delegation accompanying the President of Ghana.
