UAE FM sends congratulations to new Egyptian Foreign Minister

His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs, congratulated Dr. Badr Abdel Ati on his appointment as Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration of Egypt.

In a phone call, the two ministers discussed fraternal relations, strategic partnership, and ways to strengthen them in a way that serves the mutual interests of the two countries and their citizens.

Sheikh Abdullah expressed his best wishes to Dr. Abdel Ati for success in his new role, stressing his keenness to work with him to enhance the deeply-rooted relations and bilateral cooperation between the two countries in all fields.

The two ministers also discussed the latest developments in the Middle East and their security and humanitarian implications, as well as regional and international efforts to reach a sustainable ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and scale up the humanitarian response to the needs of the population in the Strip.
