Eid Al Fitr holidays have been announced for public sector workers in the UAE.

According to the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR), employees working for federal entities will be off from the 29th day of Ramadan (Thursday, April 20) until Shawwal 3.

This means that the holidays will run until Sunday, April 23, or Monday, April 24, depending on when the crescent moon is sighted.

If the holy month lasts for 29 days, Shawwal 3 will fall on Sunday, April 23, and on Monday, April 24, if it is 30 days.
