UAE announces Eid Al Fitr holiday for private sector

The UAE's Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation has announced the Eid Al Fitr holiday dates for the private sector.

The holidays will run from the 29th day of Ramadan (Tuesday, May 11) until Shawwal 3.

This matches an earlier announcement made by the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources for the public sector.

Shawwal 3 is expected to fall on Saturday, May 15 but it has to be confirmed by the UAE's moon-sighting committee.
