UAE announces 216 new cases of COVID-19, 276 recoveries

The UAE has announced 216 new cases of COVID-19, taking the overall tally in the country to 62,061.

According to the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP), more than 61,000 additional tests have been carried out across the Emirates.

Meanwhile, the number of recoveries in the UAE has gone up to 56,015 after another 276 patients received the all-clear.

The ministry also confirmed that two people have died due to health complications caused by the virus, bringing the death toll to 356.

This means that there are currently 5,690 active cases in the country.
