Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has diverted traffic along a section of Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road due to water logging.

"Due to water accumulation on Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road in Sharjah, traffic will be diverted to Emirates Road via Tripoli Street," the RTA said in a post on X.

The authorities have taken precautionary measures and implemented various steps to ensure public safety during the adverse weather conditions.

Emergency response teams of Dubai government entities have swung into action to ease the flow of traffic on major streets.
