Timeline confirmed for UAE astronaut's return

The Mohammed bin Rashid Space Centre (MBRSC) has revealed the return schedule of Emirati astronaut Sultan AlNeyadi after conducting the longest Arab space mission in history.

AlNeyadi and his Crew-6 mates will begin their journey back to Earth at 5:05 pm on Saturday, September 2 with the live coverage of the undocking procedure starting from 3:00 pm.

They are scheduled to splashdown off the coast of Florida no earlier than 8:58 am on Sunday, September 3 with the live stream from 8:30 am.

AlNeyadi has completed over 1,000 working hours aboard the International Space Station (ISS) where he arrived on March 3.
