Six arrested in Abu Dhabi for drug smuggling attempt

A six-member gang has been arrested in Abu Dhabi and 107 kg of hashish and crystal methamphetamine seized.

During the "secret hideout" operation, officers from Abu Dhabi tracked the movements of the gang and identified the spots where they buried the drugs.

The gang was caught red-handed, the officers said. 

In a post, Abu Dhabi Police said they are armed with the latest tech to nab those trying to use innovative methods to store, sell and circulate drugs in the country.
