Sharjah Ruler arrives in Madrid on official visit

Sharjah's Ruler has arrived in Spain for an official state visit.

His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, is looking to foster mutual relations between the emirate and the Kingdom of Spain in all aspects especially in culture and arts.

During his visit, Dr. Sheikh Sultan will visit several academic and governmental institutions and meet with His Majesty King Felipe VI.

He'll also attend the opening of the LIBER International Book Fair where Sharjah is the "Guest of Honour" for this year’s edition.
