Ruler of Sharjah pardons 283 prisoners ahead of Eid Al Adha

The Ruler of Sharjah has announced that 283 prisoners will be pardoned ahead of Eid Al Adha.

According to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al-Qasimi, member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, the inmates released belong to different nationalities. 

He clarified that the initiative is aimed at giving them an opportunity to start a new life and reintegrate into society. 

It will also help ease the distress of their families.
