Renew vehicle registration on time, drivers urged

People in Dubai are being urged to renew their car registration on time. Dubai Police issued over 11,000 fines in the first half of the year for vehicles whose registration had expired. The cost of the fine is AED 400, although vehicles can be impounded if it’s been expired for over three months. According to the Roads and Transport Authority, renewals can be done 30 days before the due date, with a 30-day grace period afterwards.
