Red and yellow fog alert issued in UAE

Heavy fog is blanketing parts of the UAE, reducing visibility, with the weather bureau urging residents to exercise caution on the roads.

Taking to their official Twitter handle, the National Center of Meteorology (NCM) issued a red and yellow fog alert for several parts of Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Sharjah and Dubai. 

Dubai Police also reminded motorists to drive with caution and to maintain speed limits.
