Nine people injured in Dubai villa fire

Nine people including children have been injured after a fire broke out in a villa in Dubai. The blaze occurred in a three-storey villa in Mirdiff before 2am, trapping some of the victims who were asleep at the time. Two people sustained injuries after trying to jump from the first floor, while their housemaid was trapped inside her room and suffered severe burns. Dubai Civil Defence was able to control the fire after 15 minutes. Investigations are underway to determine the cause of the incident.
