New launch date for DEWA SAT-2

The launch of DEWA's second nanosatellite into space has been rescheduled again.

It was due to take off on a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California on Friday, April 14, but the launch was scrubbed to weather constraints.

The new targeted launch date is Saturday, April 15 (10:30 am).

Named DEWA SAT-2, the 6U nanosatellite for remote sensing application, is now scheduled to launch on Saturday, April 15 at 10:30 am.

DEWA's Vice President of Research & Development, Dr. Ali Al Alili spoke to Dubai EYE 103.8'S The Agenda about how the nanosatellite would be used.
