Countries in the GCC are looking to introduce a committee for the regulation, license and development of pharmacists across the region. This was discussed at the GCC Pharmaceutical Congress in Dubai. Dr. Lana Hammad, Pharmacy manager at Sheikh Khalifa General hospital explained to ARN why this committee is needed in the GCC.

Dr. Hammad added that the committee will also provide a place to collect data to measure the productivity of pharmacists in the GCC.
