The report by Yalla Motor showed that 50% of car buyers in the UAE are willing to purchase an electric vehicle in the next two years.

It also highlighted how the country has one of the best ratios of chargers to electric vehicles.

However, the report highlighted that 25 per cent of respondents didn't know enough about the vehicles, hinting that manufacturers need to do more to encourage people to switch to electric.
