Ministry launches child abuse awareness

The Ministry of Social Affairs will launch a series of campaigns to promote awareness about child abuse in the country. Children will be alerted about all types of harassment while their parents will be trained to protect their kids. The Dubai Foundation for Women and Children received 11 child abuse victims in the second quarter of the year. Anita Sunil Kumar, the foundation’s Clinical Psychologist, says silence is the biggest challenge in such cases.
