Dubai car crash leaves one dead

An Indian woman has died after the car she was travelling in crashed into a truck on Emirates Road over the weekend.

Her husband, who was behind the wheel, is fighting for his life at Dubai's Rashid Hospital.

According to reports, the couple were on their way to church in Oud Metha on Friday morning when the accident happened.

Dubai Police have launched an investigation to determine how it happened.
