Expo 2020 will add AED 86 billion to UAE’s GDP

Dubai Expo 2020 will boost the UAE’s GDP by 5%. That’s according to research by the specialist emerging and frontier markets investment bank, Arqaam Capital. It says the Dubai Expo will be bigger and better than the recently concluded Milan Expo, adding AED 86 billion to the country’s GDP. It’s due to the projected increase in consumption and tourism directly related to the Expo, with officials expecting 25 million visitors at the event.
