ERC to expand aid to Yemen, as number of families already helped passes 140k

Nearly 142,000 families have benefitted from aid programmes in Taiz, Lahij, Abyan, Aden and many other areas in Yemen. This comes as the Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) expands its relief operations and humanitarian projects in the most affected areas in the country. According to WAM, 2,800 tonnes of various food items arrived in Aden Port as its 10th shipment. So far, ERC has provided about 20,000 tonnes of relief materials to Yemen.
