Emirati women reaching dizzying heights

Women occupy close to 70 per cent of jobs in the UAE's government sector.

That's according to Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women's Union (GWU) and President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood.

She says the UAE is setting a global example in gender balance and women’s empowerment at the workplace.

More than 23,000 Emirati businesswomen are also managing AED 40 billion in investments.

Her Highess says local women have scaled dizzying heights in both the government and private sectors thanks to the support provided to them by the country's leadership.
