Emirati family killed in Sharjah accident

Sharjah Police are urging motorists to adhere to speed limits, after three members of an Emirati family died in a car accident in the emirate on Saturday afternoon. The incident took place on Bridge 7 on Emirates Road headed towards Dubai. The victims, a woman in her 50s, her 20-year-old son and 14-year-old daughter, were taken to Al Qasimi Hospital where they were pronounced dead. Another woman and her child were injured but are now in stable condition. Sharjah police said the car crashed into a road barrier due to excessive speed.
