Emirates Red Crescent provides new ambulances to Aden

NULL

The Emirates Red Crescent has provided the city of Aden with ambulances as part of efforts to rehabilitate health services in Yemen. The health sector has been severely hit as a result of the ongoing conflict between Houthi rebels backed by the deposed former president Ali Abdullah Saleh and the Saudi-led Arab coalition. The UAE has been at the forefront of providing emergency assistance, particularly in Aden. Officials in the province have praised the continuing support from the UAE, which stretches across the country. The first delivery included six ambulances from the Emirates Red Crescent, with a second batch of 11 ambulances set for delivery in the next week to hospitals and medical centres across the Aden.
