Emirates Red Crescent continues work on infrastructure projects in Yemen

The Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) has implemented the first phase of a AED 4.5 million project to keep Aden’s roads and residential neighbourhoods clean. The aid organisation has delivered 4 waste disposal trucks and 150 containers to the Yemeni port city. A dozen more vehicles and thousands of additional equipment will be shipped from the UAE in the coming weeks. Meanwhile, the ERC has helped install five sewerage pumps as part of a AED 6 million project to upgrade the drainage system in Aden.
