Dubai's RTA awarded five-star safety rating

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai has been awarded a five-star rating by the British Safety Council for 2024.

The award recognises the organisations exemplary standards in occupational health and safety management across work environments, construction sites, and operational activities. 

Nada Jassim, Director of the Safety and Risk Regulation and Planning Department, highlighted the authority's sustained efforts in adopting advanced health and safety strategies, reflecting its dedication to continuous improvement and operational excellence. 

The achievement underscores RTA's leadership and commitment to implementing best practices, aligned with its strategic plan goals to enhance transportation safety, support community well-being, and ensure efficient and secure transportation systems in and around Dubai.
