Dubai DJ wins island in Canada

A Dubai-based DJ has won an island in Canada.

Twenty-seven-year-old Brendan Lopez also walked away with AED 100,000 in cash as part of competition he entered with a local bank.

The 2.42-hectare piece of land is located in the eastern Canadian province of Nova Scotia.

The competition was held by Liv, an online bank run by Emirates NBD.
