Dubai Airports officially open five-storey control centre

Dubai Airports have officially opened their Airport Operations Control Centre.

The five-storey facility will receive real-time data from 50 systems located across the airport such as terminal display systems, flight information and baggage carousels. 

More than 120 staff members, working round the clock, will help run and monitor the airports' operations from the facility located on Al Ittihad Road. 

The control centre also contains 96 working stations and more than 120 screens, which will be processing seven billion data points daily.
