There is a 12% rate of violence among students in schools across the UAE. That’s according to a study done by the Dubai Foundation for Women and Children. As a result of the study the DFWAC has launched 'Who Dares When Friends are There', an anti-bullying programme in private and public schools. To mark anti-bullying week, the programme is currently running workshops over the span of five days. The workshops will train social workers, psychologists, as well as education professionals working with students and their parents on programmes in schools to cope against bullying.
