COVID-19: UAE confirms 254 new cases and 295 recoveries

The number of people recovering from COVID-19 continues to rise in the UAE.

It’s now gone up to 55,385 after another 295 patients received the all-clear.

Authorities have also confirmed 254 new cases after carrying out 43,369 additional tests across the Emirates.

Meanwhile, two more patients have died, taking the total number of fatalities to 353.

A total of 61,606 cases have been diagnosed in the UAE so far but only 5,868 of these are currently active.
