COVID-19: Al Hosn App essential for Abu Dhabi entry

From today, people entering Abu Dhabi must show their negative COVID-19 test result on the Al Hosn App.

Previously, text messages had been accepted.

But Abu Dhabi Police now request the activation of the app in line with the updated procedures issued by the Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee.

The new protocol requires everyone to show the result and type of test from February 1.

The Committee updated the border entry regulations on Saturday.

DPI test results on the Al Hosn app will be accepted within 24 hours, instead of 48. Those entering the UAE capital with a negative DPI test and staying there for more than 48 hours must take a PCR test on day three of entry.
