COVID-19: 1,699 new cases detected in the UAE today

The UAE has confirmed 1,699 new cases of COVID-19 from 179,453 tests.

As many as 1,686 people have been given the all-clear, taking the overall recovery tally to 507,706.

Another two patients have died, bringing the total number of fatalities to 1,598.

A total of 527,266 cases have been diagnosed in the UAE so far, out of which 17,962 are currently active.
