Case opens against gang accused of planning terrorist operations

The case of the Al Manara terrorist gang has begun to be heard by the State Security Division of the Federal Supreme Court. According to national news agency WAM, 41 defendants have been charged with possessing firearms, with the intention of committing acts of terrorism against the country. They’re also accused of raising funds for other terrorist groups, such as IS. One of the defendants has admitted the charges, whilst the others deny them.
