Car on fire causes delays on Dubai's Sheikh Zayed Road

Traffic delays have been reported on Sheikh Zayed Road on Sunday after a car caught fire.

Taking to their official Twitter handle, Dubai Police said the incident happened "on Sheikh Zayed Road after the fourth bridge towards Abu Dhabi".

Motorists have been urged to exercise caution and take alternate routes to avoid delays.

A spokesperson for the Dubai Civil Defence confirmed there are no injuries.
