New Dubai app to report flooding

Dubai Municipality

Authorities want residents to use a new mobile app to report cases of flooding.

They say the Dubai 24|7 app is the best way to alert the municipality.

It comes after water was not properly drained out in many areas of the emirate during thunderstorms on Friday and Sunday.

Dubai Municipality say they're taking steps to improve their rainwater drainage system.

The measures include deploying more tankers and using portable water pumps.
