The UAE’s Arab Geniuses programme for space has already received 22,300 applications to join its first session.

The programme, which is the first of its kind in the Arab world, will embrace and nurture the talents of Arab youth in the space sector.

The Emirates Space Agency continues to receive thousands of requests from interested scientific innovators, inventors and researchers.

They also revealed that Egypt ranked number one in terms of number of applicants, with Iraq coming in second, followed by Algeria, Morocco and the Emirates.

This comes as the launch date for Mars Hope Probe approaches, set to take place on Wednesday, July 15.

The unique programme will offer participants potential work opportunities, educational scholarships in specialties related to outer space, financial rewards and paid accommodation for three years in the UAE.
