Ailing senior citizen atop RAK mountain airlifted to hospital

Authorities in Ras Al Khaimah have airlifted an ailing senior citizen to a nearby hospital after he developed medical complications.

The team from the police department's Air Wing Section were sent to the man's residence in the hilly Al-Balagh area after they were alerted about his condition at 9:00 am on Sunday.

He was unable to drive his car after he developed severe back pain.

Colonel Tayyar Saeed Rashid Al Yamahi, Head of the Air Wing Section in Ras Al Khaimah Police, said the mission was completed within 20 minutes.
