Abu Dhabi Police receive global recognition award

Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters has become the first police institution globally to receive the Global Excellence Award from the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) with a prestigious 7-diamond rating.

The recognition marks a significant accomplishment for the UAE's law enforcement sector, underscoring its commitment to excellence and innovation in policing.

The award ceremony, held during the EFQM 2024 Forum in Istanbul, Turkey, saw Major General Khalifa Mohammed Al Khaili and Brigadier Khalid Abdullah Khoury accept the award on behalf of Abu Dhabi Police.

Russell Longmire, CEO of EFQM, praised the institution for securing the highest score among all participating organizations worldwide, applauding their dedication to continuous improvement and exemplary leadership in public service.

The EFQM Global Excellence Award is renowned for recognising organisations that excel in translating strategic goals into tangible outcomes while promoting sustainable development and continuous improvement.
