A campaign has been launched to protect the physical and mental health of workers in Abu Dhabi.

That's according to the Department of Community Development (DCD) and the capital's Emergency Crisis and Disasters Committee for COVID-19.

Both entities have launched the 'You Matter' initiative in order to provide people with psychological support in eight different languages via a dedicated hotline (800 937292).

Trained responders will also offer callers advice on how to strengthen communication with family and friends, and recommend how to develop hobbies or learn new skills.
