UFC returns to Abu Dhabi's Etihad Arena

UFC will be returning to Yas Island, Abu Dhabi starting October 30 with two highly anticipated world championship bouts to headline the event.

Hosted by DCT Abu Dhabi (Department of Culture and Tourism Abu Dhabi), the event will see UFC light heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz go for his second successful title defense when he takes on number 1 ranked contender Glover Teixeira.

The co-main event will see UFC bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling look to settle the score with former title holder and number 1 ranked contender Petr Yan.

According to a tweet by the Abu Dhabi Media Office, the fights will be held at the Etihad Arena under strict precautionary measures. Entry requirements will include a green status on the AlHosn app and a negative PCR test result taken within 48 hours.
